It has been 8 weeks since my last update and I am pleased to be able to say that we have made great progress towards our Q2 development targets.
When I last updated you our new project manager (Lisa) was about to start and itโs fair to say that her introduction has really been a positive for the team. She has introduced new processes, efficiencies and a level of documentation and professionalism that has already started to pay dividends. I am more confident than ever that we will achieve our Q2 development targets, we may even slightly exceed them. The consumer app is starting to really take shape and looks great.
To further increase our development speed, we introduced a new project plan, where we will be running simultaneous development strands. We have started the development of the venue ticketing application, before the completion of the consumer app and to do this we have taken on another developer. The testing of various parts of the app has started too and we have onboarded a testing manager who will work closely with myself and our project manager to co-ordinate with our testing team.
The onboarding of another developer and our new testing manager brings our team count to 11, more than double what it was when I wrote my first update in January, so whilst our social channels may not be screaming you can rest assured that work behind the scenes is progressing at pace and I look forward to our in-house summer Revellers event where I will hopefully get to meet some of our community. I will be the guy on the door scanning you all in on our new consumer App ๐.
The progress we have made this last 2 months has been staggering and testament to the amazing team we have now recruited to BPM. I am so very excited for Q3 and Q4 of this year where we expect to see the first real-world usage of our solution, as well as various exciting announcements that are currently in the works.
Best wishes,
Chris Dangerfield
